The Sacred Heart College of Nursing is a Christian Minority Institution run by the Society of the Sacred Heart Leprosy Centre, Sakkottai belonging to the Diocese of Kumbakonam and SMMI Gongegation was started in the year 2009 with the 50 seats intake of B.Sc Nursing Programme. It is situated in the Campus of the Sacred Heart Hospital which is spread out in an area of 35 acres of land. In a natural environment, the College and the Hospital are situated by the side of Karaikkal Main Road, in Muthaiapillaimandapam , Kumbakonam Taluk, Tanjore District., Tamilnadu.
